George’s started as a Hire Company with a huge fleet of heaters for hire.
Current owners joined the company and set up a Southern Branch in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
Branched out and added new divisions to the business - Supply and Installation of Air Conditioning Systems.
Carried out first major project, Rubens Hotel, Buckingham Palace Road, SW1W 0PS
Started importing portable air conditioning units and industrial fans directly from the Far East, working with leading manufacturers, whom we still work with today.
Set up of our own brand 'Cyclone'. Range of powerful, high quality industrial fans.
Supplied and installed air conditioning in Europe's first Authentic Hindu Temple - BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Temple.
Became a Daikin D1 Business Partner.
Designed, supplied and installed complete HVAC system for The Oshwal Association at The Oshwal Centre, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.
Relocated to new larger office and warehouse in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
Prince Charles (now King Charles), visited The Oshwal Centre. Managing Director of George’s was invited to meet him, due to our involvement in the project. Installation and Supply of a HVAC system.
