CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH, HACKNEY

Commercial Installation

THE INSTALLATION PROJECT

  • Client's Brief

The client sought an energy-efficient heating and cooling system for a very large church hall used for worship and various gatherings. The system needed to handle fluctuating temperatures due to the hall's size while minimising operational costs, particularly given the high energy demands of heating such a vast area.

  • Type Of System Installed

We supplied and installed a Daikin VRV system, featuring wall-mounted units at low levels and ceiling fans. The low-level units provide direct, even distribution of conditioned air, while the ceiling fans assist in circulating air and preventing heat from rising. A single, large VRV outdoor unit was installed to meet the heating and cooling needs of the entire hall, connecting efficiently to multiple indoor units.

  • Rationale

The Daikin VRV system addresses space limitations by using one large outdoor unit connected to multiple indoor units, allowing for effective heating and cooling without occupying unnecessary space. Renowned for its energy efficiency, the system’s inverter technology minimises energy consumption by adjusting power based on real-time demand, making it a cost-effective choice compared to traditional heating methods. By opting for Daikin, the client can expect reduced operating costs while maintaining comfort. Additionally, Daikin's reliability and build quality ensure consistent performance in high-use environments, with minimal maintenance requirements, providing the client with peace of mind.
